The vehicle camera system consists of a special license plate holder, which replaces the existing one, and a monitor with touchscreen functionality.

The license plate holder integrates a camera and two ultrasonic parking sensors (PDC, Park Distance Control) / (BSD, Blind Spot Detection). The camera images and sensor information are transmitted wirelessly to the monitor in the vehicle interior.

The combined visual and acoustic support significantly facilitates parking and increases safety.
Installation is particularly easy, as only the license plate holder needs to be replaced. Thanks to the integrated solar modules in conjunction with a powerful lithium-polymer battery, neither cable routing nor drilling into the bodywork is required.

The monitor is attached in the driver's field of vision using one of the two supplied brackets and powered via a car socket (cigarette lighter).

It supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, AirPlay, Android Cast (Google Cast), and Bluetooth, as well as the playback of audio and video files via SD card. Various audio outputs are also available.

Features of the license plate holder
• License plate holder for single-line EU license plates (520 x 110 mm)
• High-resolution camera with CEMOS sensors and a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels (HD 720p). A 170° field of view provides a good overview.
• PDC ultrasonic distance sensors measure the distance between the license plate holder and obstacles. The distance is reported acoustically. Detection range up to 2.2 m.
• Two solar modules charge a 5,000 mAh battery. This ensures operation even during extended dark periods.
• A vibration sensor allows the license plate holder to automatically detect when the vehicle is parked and switches to a battery-saving standby mode.
  As soon as the sensor detects vibration when the vehicle starts, the license plate holder switches back on.
• The electronics of the license plate holder are dustproof and protected against temporary submersion (IP67).
• 2.4 GHz wireless technology ensures interference-free reception. The radio range is a generous 100 m, making the product also suitable for trucks, motorhomes, and long convoys.

• Touch-sensitive touchscreen with a diagonal of 18 cm (7") and a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
• Parking assistance with configurable distance lines.
• Visual distance display to obstacles (direction and distance).
• Acoustic distance alert when approaching obstacles.
• Flexible mounting with two supplied brackets.
• The monitor's power supply is connected to an onboard power socket or a cigarette lighter.
  It is suitable for cars (12 V) and trucks (24 V) and has a USB output for powering external devices.
  As an alternative to the power supply, a standard USB power adapter can also be used.
• The monitor establishes its own Wi-Fi for communication with a smartphone (Wi-Fi standards IEEE 802.11b/g/n).
• With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can wirelessly and conveniently use the functions of your compatible smartphone via the touchscreen.
  For example, voice control, navigation, making calls, messages, music, podcasts, audiobooks, and other compatible apps are possible.
• With AirPlay and Android Cast (Google Cast), you can wirelessly mirror your compatible smartphone screen to the monitor.
• Bluetooth 5.0 allows you to make calls or play music, podcasts, and audiobooks via the monitor when connected to a smartphone.
• With SD, you can play audio and video files via an SD card inserted in the monitor.
• Audio output can be via the monitor's integrated speakers or external speakers, such as those in the vehicle or portable speakers. Various connection options are available for the latter:
- Via Bluetooth
- Via an unused FM frequency of the car radio
- Via an AUX cable connection.
