CARMATRIX HD Solar Wireless Reversing Camera System with 5" Monitor License Plate with PDC Parking Sensors (without Solar)

We developed this reversing system without a solar panel, especially as an alternative to our CARMATRIX Premium Solar Reversing System Solar 2.

The main components of this smart car reversing camera system for motor vehicles are a special license plate holder, which replaces the existing one, and a 5" IPS HD color monitor.

The license plate holder integrates a reversing camera and two ultrasonic distance sensors (PDC, Park Distance Control, parking sensors), which are powered electrically via the vehicle's electrical system. The images from the reversing camera and the digital radio signals from the parking sensors are transmitted wirelessly and encrypted to the monitor in the vehicle interior. The combined optical and acoustic support significantly simplifies parking and increases safety.

The monitor is mounted in the driver's field of vision using one of the two supplied brackets and powered via an on-board socket (cigarette lighter). 

License Plate Holder Features
• License plate holder for single-line EU license plates (520 x 110 mm) (excluding Austria)
• High-resolution camera with CMOS sensors and a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels (HD 720p).
      The 170° field of view provides a good overview. 
• Ultrasonic distance sensors measure the distance between the license plate holder and obstacles and report it visually and acoustically.    Detection range up to 2.2 m, detection angle 60°.
• The electronics of the license plate holder are dustproof and protected against temporary submersion (IP67).
• 2.4 GHz radio technology ensures interference-free reception. The radio range is 17.5 m, so the product
     is also suitable for trucks, motorhomes, and long vehicle combinations.
